Union Band Community,
Do you think we'll have a weekend free from rain this season? I must say while dealing with this type of adversity, the students have done a fantastic job being flexible and making the most of what time we have had to rehearse.
District and State Band audition sign-ups have been posted. Students need to wrap this up in the next few days, so if your child is on the fence, please encourage them to start practicing, sign up, and follow through with a well-prepared audition to try and make the all-district and state bands. Audition fees are also due this week. The district audition is $10 per person and the state auditions are $15 per instrument. Consequently, the majority of students will owe $25 for them to audition on one instrument for district and state. Checks are payable to UBPC.
Pep Band A and B assignments have been made. With our first pep band game just around the corner, please encourage your child to double check the lists in order to make sure they are able to cover the game they are responsible for. If there is a problem, they may swap games with another student from their section. Also, if they would like to go to both games, they are more than welcome to and may add their names to the list.
Special reminder about Tuesday night's rehearsal as well as Saturday morning's rehearsal!

4:00pm - Rehearsal in Tuttle (wear black shorts/member shirt)
5:00pm - Dinner
6:00pm - Dress into uniform
6:30pm - Move into Tuttle for pregame performance
7:00pm - Kickoff - RR performs PREGAME
