The 8th Grade Center hosted a pep assembly last week when it welcomed students on the first day of school on Monday, August 20. Some of the Union 8th Grade Center teachers got into character the first day of school to see if they were really “Smarter than an 8th Grader”. They presented a parody of the real show to show students a hilarious look “what not to do” at the eighth grade center. The skit was written by eighth grade drama teacher Erika McGhee and featured teachers Christy Wright, Hunter Alexander, Tamarah Danzy, Jeff Alyias, William Murphy and Tanner Phillips.
