Cheerleaders earn awards at camp

Union Cheerleading Program Brings Home Awards from Summer Cheer Camp
More than 100 girls from the Union Cheer program grades 8 through 12 attended the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) Stunt and Performance Camp at the University of Oklahoma June 6th - 9th. While at camp, the program received numerous honors including Camp Champs, the Home Pom Champs as well as 15 union cheerleaders being named "All American" which is the highest individual honor you can earn.
This is Union’s fourth year to attend the UCA camp where squads from Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas compete. In all 35 teams attended, with over 500 athletes. UCA also hosts the nationals competition held in Florida where Union will compete for the national title in February.
