Union grad qualifies for U.S. Open playoffs

Madison Westby and Blake Boswell, both of Tulsa, won the mixed doubles championship at the Missouri Valley Sectional in Prairie Valley, Kan., the qualifying tournament for the U.S. Open National Playoffs.
Westby, the reigning Tulsa World All-Metro Player of the Year, will be a junior at Bishop Kelley High School this fall. Boswell, who attended Union High School, was the All-Metro Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006 before playing at the University of Oklahoma.
