What was your favorite part about Satellite?
Doing stuff I didn't know was possible: being on stage at a rock show taking pictures, rowing with a rowing team down the Arkansas, going to forums, having people treat me as a real journalist.
What's the piece you're most proud of producing and why?
I was most proud of my opinion pieces.
I wrote about how my generation is fed up with negative campaigning, and I received amazing response.
It was the first time that my opinions ever made other people fired up about something, and that opened my eyes to the power of the written word.
