Jennifer Ochwo has taught for Union for seven years. She began as a classroom teacher for English Learners, to help them develop their academic language.

"My job has since changed to where I am now the lead for English Learners 9th-12th. In addition to helping students develop the academic language they need to be successful, I am responsible for training teachers, working with counselors and administrators, and helping students reach graduation. I also work as the ESL evening program manager for Union’s Adult ESL classes offered at the 9th grade center. Some of our students even include parents of our English learners. My passion in life is to help students to attain English so they can live a productive and successful life here in the U.S," she said.
