Board approves limited redistricting effort

Union’s Board of Education accepted the recommendation of the Long Range Planning Committee and unanimously approved a limited redistricting effort that will impact approximately 350 students. 

The redistricting includes changes for the following communities:

  • Sawmill Apartments (12903 E 35th Pl, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Boevers Elementary); 
  • Cimarron Apartments (13201 E 31st St, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Boevers Elementary); 
  • Briarglen Plaza Duplexes (130th E Pl. south of 31st E Ave and E 31st Ct east of 129th E. Ave, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Boevers Elementary); 
  • Beaumont Cove Apartments (3147 S 108th E Ave, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Clark Elementary); 
  • Boca Vista Apartments (10851 E 33rd St, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Clark Elementary); 
  • Village Duplexes (East 33rd Street just west of Garnett, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Clark Elementary); 
  • Creekside Apartments (3901 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Rosa Parks Elementary); 
  • Park Terrace Addition (north of 41st between Creekside Apartments and Park Plaza East, Tulsa) will attend Ochoa Elementary (previously Rosa Parks Elementary); and
  • Creekwood Apartments (8418 S 77th E Ave, Tulsa) will attend Jarman Elementary (previously Darnaby Elementary). 

The changes will be in effect beginning this fall for the 2019-2020 school year.
