The Union Fine Arts Department is proud to present this year’s all-school musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone" at 7 p.m. February 1-4 at the Union Performing Arts Center, 6636 S. Mingo Road. See the download link on this page for cast and credits.

To purchase 'The Drowsy Chaperone" tickets online, go to Click on BUY TICKETS, Select The Drowsy Chaperone.

“The Drowsy Chaperone” is a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. The story concerns a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan; as he plays the record of his favorite musical called “The Drowsy Chaperone,” the show comes to life onstage.
The Broadway version of the show opened in 2006 and won several awards, including five Tony Awards.

The Union production will feature students from across the district under the direction of High School drama teacher Troy Powell.

Please contact Cynthia Yoakam in Fine Arts at or by telephone at extension 7414 if you have any questions.
