Lisa Griffin, Union Child Nutrition director, participated in Andersen’s Community Health and Wellness night. And, she assembled a team to enter the "Recipes for Kids Challenge", a nationwide competition to present delicious and healthy recipes in three categories: Whole Grains, Dark Green or Orange Vegetables, and Dry beans and Peas.
Teacher Carol Conrad shared images from McAuliffe Elementary School, featuring images from an assembly, gingergbread house making and other festive occassions.
Megan Lessley’s Early Childhood Center class created a butterfly to help them get to the kingdom in the clouds. The 3-year-old students named their butterfly Sparkle and she has gone missing. The students have created lost signs and posted around the building as well a map to help her find her way back home.
