'Trout in the Classroom'

The Marine Biology classes at Union High School are involved in an exciting program very new to the Midwest called Trout in the Classroom (TIC). This program is very common in the eastern and western coastal states but was sponsored for its first time here in the Mid-west in Tulsa just last school year by the local chapter of Trout Unlimited (TU); they are a community group of fishermen and women that are very interested not only in fishing but also in the quality of the waters in our environment, in helping utilize these water resources respectfully and in helping students become more environmentally conscientious through programs like TIC.

Warm fuzzies drive at Moore

Bring in new or gently used scarves, hats, gloves, blankets, etc. They are REALLY NEEDING BLANKETS right now. Let’s help those in need stay warm this winter! Put in box in front hall.
