Ice cream social brings parents to ECEC

On November 15, 2012, Rosa Parks Early Childhood Education Center had the first of their annual Material Socials. The Material Social presents the students families with the wonderful skill building that is practiced every day at Rosa Parks ECEC. In every classroom there are multiple centers for the students to explore such as: Home living, Light and Shadow, Construction, Atelier, Manipulatives/Games and Messaging.

'Canned food drive at High School' winners

Congratulations to Chris Young’s 1st hour class for collecting the most cans and food supplies and to Ms. Wilkerson’s 6th hour class for collecting the most money for the Canned Food Drive at the High School! These classes will get to enjoy a cookie and pop party this week! Thank you to all the English teachers for the effort made to bring in donations for our community. All food and money collected is being donated to Union families in need!
