JV Highsteppers fund raiser Aug. 18

Holloway qualifies in national swim meet
August 15, 2011
This past week, at the Junior National Swim Meet at Stanford in California, Eastman Holloway qualified with an Olympic Trial time in the 400 M Freestyle event. Eastman will be a senior at Union - graduating in 2012. He led the union Men's team to a 4th place finish at the State Championship this past February and is a State Champion in the events he swims.... more

The High School was buzzing today with students and parents as juniors and seniors picked up their class schedules today. Students in grades 6-12 could pick up schedules through 3 p.m. today, Friday and again on Monday, August 15 - 2 p.m.– 7 p.m.

Boevers welcomes students, parents

The following is an automated phone message sent to families at Boevers Elementary School Thursday.
This is Alycia Pennington, new principal at Boevers Elementary. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know your students this year. I wanted to let you know about a few upcoming dates. On Tuesday, August 16, our staff will be doing a neighborhood walk about. We will be walking through the area starting around 6:30 p.m. We hope you are home, so we can deliver something to your student.
Meet the Teacher will be Thursday, August 18 from 4-6, here at Boevers. Class lists will be posted at Meet the Teacher. School supplies will be provided again this year. Your child will only need to bring a box of kleenex and a backpack.
The first day of school is Monday, August 22. Please make a note of the new hours. Your student may come in the building at 7:40 and the tardy bell will ring at 7:55 this year. School ends at 2:40 p.m. We hope that you have had a wonderful summer and we look forward to a great year!
