Intermediate BPA went to the Thunder basketball game last Tuesday, October 12, at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The group was on the floor during warm-up and greeted the players as they came running through the tunnel to be announced.

Jenks never trailed in the decisive fifth game of its Class 6A state volleyball quarterfinal victory over Union on Friday. Still, the Trojans were pushed to the very brink before prevailing 27-25, 19-25, 18-25, 25-20, 15-13. You could tell by the long talk Redskins coach Chadd McKee had with his team afterward, when he repeatedly praised his teary-eyed players for both their fight and their level of play.

Jarman second graders celebrated with a “Responsible Readers Reward Party” for students who met their reading goal. Students were treated to a dessert and several parents joined in on the fun! The second grade teachers and media specialist coordinated the party.
Wednesday, October 6, was FCCLA Northeast District 6 Leadership meeting. Intermediate High School students listened to a motivational guest speaker, and then performed the following service projects that all benefited the Children’s Miracle Network at Saint Francis Hospital: Halloween door hangers/decorations for the hospital rooms, made Halloween masks, donated candy for trick-or-treating within the hospital, and more.
