  • 10th Grade PSAT Test set Oct. 12

    October 12, 8:30 a.m. - 10th Grade PSAT Test

    It is not too late to study!!!
    Get a calculator, some pencils, scratch paper and a good breakfast on Wednesday.

    Sophmores who have registered and paid for the test, will be bussed to Tulsa Technology Center's Riverside Campus and return to school around lunch.  Pizza will be provided in support of the students' initiative in preparing for the SAT.

  • Jarman parent-teacher conferences

    It is that time again for parents to visit our school and visit with staff regarding their child’s academic and social growth. Jarman teachers will be confirming appointments set with the parents for this Thursday, October 13 from 4-7 p.m.. and on Monday, October 17th from 4-7 p.m. These Thursday and Monday meetings will allow each staff member to have personal time and receive valuable information from the parents as well.  Our specialty staff will also be available should parents want to visit with them.
     
    We appreciate that our PTA will also be providing small snacks to our staff that will be staying until 7 p.m. for these conferences.

  • Opera Lovers

    The fifth grade classes at Rosa Parks Elementary are going to see a performance of “The Barber of Seville” this coming Friday evening. In preparation for that experience, we are watching the HD broadcast from the Metropolitan Opera staring Joyce DiDonato and Juan Diego Florez. Joyce graciously agreed to receive questions from my students and then make a YouTube video of herself answering the questions. She’s in Milan, Italy at the moment getting ready for a new production of “Der Rosenkavalier” at La Scala.... more
