Aurielle Brown’s first grade class has really been working hard on their Rules for Success. Every time they receive a compliment or have awesome behavior they get to put some marbles in their jar. All of the hard work finally paid off because on October 15, they got to celebrate their behavior. Miss Brown provided the class with bubbles, chips and a drink. They had so much fun letting loose and blowing their bubbles.
Andersen’s Jog-A-Thon was a huge success! A total of $6,818.98 was raised! This money will help P.T.A. provide many wonderful activities for the school.
Miss Oklahoma, Emily West, visited Andersen Elementary on October 27. Miss West spoke to students at an assembly encouraging them to develop good character and positively influence others.
The pre-kindergarten students at Clark Elementary had an exciting day recently. Just in time for fall and the approaching Halloween season, parents came in for some pumpkin decorating and a picnic style lunch. Students in Mrs. Beisly’s, Mrs. Gregory’s and Miss Chaffin’s class were very excited to show their parents some of their work around the classroom too! Enjoy the pictures!
