Boevers CAN do it!

Boevers Elementary wants to help and we know we CAN do it! The Boevers Elementary Student Council is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit the Salvation Army. Each classroom is collecting cans and boxed items to donate. The canned food drive ends on Monday, November 15. Some suggested items for donation include: cake mixes, cranberry sauce, canned fruit & vegetables, jello & pudding mixes, peanut butter, canned pumpkin, and stuffing mixes.... more
Pixy Sticks for I-Care

Jefferson Milers & the Tulsa Run

Jefferson Elementary faculty and students had a great time on Saturday, October 30, at the Tulsa Run. Jefferson had more than 170 participants and won fourth place in the large school division. Coach Irick will have an opportunity to purchase new items for her students and program through the participation in the Tulsa Run.... more
No mercy for seventh grade

The seventh graders took on their teachers in a United Way basketball game Tuesday, but were overmatched.

Assistant Principal Estella Evans explained, "The teachers won the basketball game with a score of 44 to 8… No mercy was shown to the youth. Apparently, the students had been saying how they were going reeeeally beat their teachers. Now, the teachers have bragging rights. I guess this was another lesson they had to learn."
