Good morning! Another busy weekend for our student athletes and performers. Congrats to Troy Powell and his ONE ACT performers on the 4th place finish at the State competiton and to Matt McCready and our band's 3rd place finish at OBA. Our football team, under Coach Fridrich's leadership continued their march towards the play-offs with a win over BTW on Friday. Counselor Debbie Greever talks to freshmen about a scholarship opportunity for Choctaw descendants at the 9th Grade Center on Thursday, October 25. A presentation was also made at the Union Alternative School and the High School. A number of scholarships are available for Native American students; if you have a question about these scholarships please see your school counselor.
Students at the Union 6th/7th Grade Center perform a drug-free rap written by American Idol's Melinda Doolittle when she was a freshman at Union High School. The students performed the rap during lunch on Friday, October 26, for Red Ribbon Week.
