Pie times

November 12, 2010
Cafeteria manager Rhonda Opela took a pie in the face after the 4th grade cleaned their plates at lunch on Tuesday. She challenged the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders at Rosa Parks to see which class would be the first to have at least 75 clean trays at the end of lunch. The fourth graders won and Ms. Rhonda kept her promise!

Annual D-FY Invasion set Friday

On 11/12, we are having our annual Invasion at the 6-7th Grade Center. There will be 135 DFY students from 3 secondary schools divided into 39 teams; these students will go into most of the classrooms, the gyms, cafeteria and halls talking to and interacting with the 6-7th graders. The goal is for the older students to influence the younger students to make good choices. The students will be there all day with the program.

Food drive under way at Darnaby
