  • Jarman to Dance Into Summer this Friday

    May 5, 2016

    Jarman will host its 2nd annual Dance Into Summer event Friday, May 6 from 6 to 8pm. Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. We will offer many items for purchase including pizza, Freckles frozen custard, candy, and beverages. Students must be accompanied by an adult. We also hope to see you next Tuesday evening for our Summer Goal Setting Conference from 5:30 to 6:30. This will be a come and go event for you and your child to set their summer academic goals. We will have our BOGO book fair open for purchase as well as a surprise for all of our students to help get their summer reading goals started. We will have cookies and lemonade to enjoy at the book fair. As you know, May is a busy month full of fun activities. Please be sure to check the newsletter for other important dates. We hope to see your family this Friday and next Tuesday for two awesome events! more

    Jefferson Elementary hosted a “Math Wars” STEM Night on Tuesday, May 3. Each grade level presented a different Math/STEM related activity, and parents were able to join in on the fun. See inside for lots of photos. more

  • School day ends on a high note

    The Rosa Parks Early Childhood Education Center School Day ends on a high note thanks to John Rush and Amy Roark, a flute duo on loan from the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. They played out the end of the day as parents picked up their 3-year-old students. Principal Lynn McClure got cozy for the concert and invited families to enjoy the music.
