Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Dr. Kathy Dodd, center, holds her plaque, honoring her as the Outstanding Educator Award recipient for 2012 by the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma. She is flanked by Associate Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartzler and Superintendent Dr. Cathy Burden. Dodd was honored Friday.
The Outstanding Educator Award, given each spring for the annual Celebration of Education in Oklahoma, honors alumni who have demonstrated commitment for quality classroom instruction through consistent programming and teaching strategies that embrace high expectation for student learning which both excite and challenge students to perform to their highest potential. This award is one of the college’s highest honors. See earlier story.
