Past & Present: Union athletic directors

Past and present Union High School athletic directors were present for University of Tulsa Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship’s talk at the Tulsa Sports Charities luncheon at Spudder’s Restaurant last month.
From left are Chuck Perry (A.D. 2008 to present), Blankenship (Union head football coach from 2002-2006), Emily Stone (spirit coordinator in 2004, asst. A.D, 2005, assoc. A.D. 2010), Gil Cloud (A.D. 1977-1990) and Steve Dunlap (A.D. 2007-2008.) On March 5, the Union Board of Education approved current athletic director Chuck Perry’s promotion to director of secondary education. Perry’s successor will be Emily Stone effective June 1.
