Early Pre-K, kindergarten enrollment

Originally posted April 16, 2012

The following is an automated phone message sent to Jarman families over the weekend.

This is Sherri Fair, Director of Student Data and Assessment with an important message for Jarman parents. This Tuesday, April 17, is Jarman's Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment day. If you have a student who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, it is important that you pre-enroll your student for Pre-K at the Union Education Service Center, 8506 E. 61st Street, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Pre-K program is an all-day program, but site enrollment is limited. Tuesday is the only day you can pre-enroll with Jarman as your first choice. If you miss this opportunity, you will need to wait until after May 1, when all site enrollment is completed.
Children who are at least five years old on or before September 1 may enroll in Kindergarten. If your child attended a Union Pre-K program this year, you do not have to re-enroll.
If you have neighbors or family members in the Jarman area with Pre-K or Kindergarten-age children, please let them know about this important day.
