AFJROTC Charity Golf Tournament planned August 15
The Union Public Schools Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is sponsoring its first Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 15, at the Patriot Golf Course in Owasso.
Funds raised from the event will benefit the Union AFJROTC effort to host the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall at Central Park at Union, 62nd and Mingo, September 11-18 as America pays tribute on the 10-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, said organizer Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt) Daniel Snow. Funds will also benefit the Folds of Honor, Blue Star Mothers, and other related organizations as funds are available.
Several sponsorship levels are available.

The golf tournament is the first of several events planned in connection with the Week of Remembrance September 11-18. A Patriotic Ball is schedule September 10. A complete list of events is available under the news section at www.unionps.org called Week of Remembrance. Donations are welcome.
