Two questions on state ballot on education

Voting information and opinions are provided by the Cooperative Council for School Administrators. While Union Public Schools takes no official position on election matters, Union does encourage all eligible patrons to vote on November 6.

State Questions Affecting Education

The Cooperative Council for School Administrators has been asked to prepare talking points regarding two state questions which, if passed, will have a detrimental financial impact on your district.

SQ 758: lowers the cap on growth of homestead property valuation from 5% to 3%.
SQ 766: provides a tax exemption for all intangible personal property in Oklahoma.
