All offices to close at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 16

The Education Service Center and all school offices will be closed at 11:30 a.m. today, Thursday, August 16, for a required district wide employee meeting. Normal hours will resume Friday, August 17.
The following is an automated phone message sent to Union emoplyees on August 14.
This Union Superintendent Dr. Cathy Burden calling to remind you that the 2012-2013 Back-to-School Kickoff celebration is this Thursday, August 16, at the Union High School Performing Arts Center.
Please report to your usual work site in the morning at 8 a.m. - unless scheduled otherwise by your supervisor - and attend any planned site or department meetings. After lunch, sign in at the employee tables in UPAC lobby in time to visit sponsors’ booths and be seated promptly by 1 p.m. Sign-in is necessary to be eligible for a one-time stipend.
Expect another Union-style production, which this year features employee talent as well as an informative and entertaining program produced by High School drama teacher Troy Powell. You can take a special preview tour of the High School’s new Union Collegiate Academy wing immediately following the kickoff program.
