Commencement set May 9 at Mabee Center

Commencement for Union High School will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the Mabee Center. There are 1,101 seniors eligible to walk across the stage. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Once the arena is full, patrons will be held downstairs until seats open up. All seats being held will have to be given up 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. Once again, Union will stream the entire event online for free. Patrons can set up a free account here: With three camera angles and full audio feed from the event you will not miss a moment of Union’s first class commencement.

Thanks to the PTA, seniors will end the night with the all-night Graduation Celebration, which starts at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 and runs until 4:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Incredible Pizza, 8314 East 71st Street. 

Union High School will host Reggaefest from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Union Tuttle Stadium.
