Set the Table Tulsa promotes family meals

Mealtime magic --- Global Gardens, a community garden organization working at several Tulsa-area schools, has partnered with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and the Tulsa City-County Library to encourage families to eat together at least four times a week during the month of November as part of Set the Table Tulsa initiative.

Union sets $20.4 million bond election

Book sale under way at Adult Learning Center

Union’s Adult Learning Center is hosting a book fair that contains reads for children, teens and adults. The fair is open to public today until 7:30 p.m., and tomorrow from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Union Adult Learning Center is located at the northwest corner of the 9th Grade Center, 7616 S Garnett, marked ‘Adult and Community Education.’ Cash and Credit/Debit cards are accepted. School will be open at Darnaby today

A gas leak early this morning in the housing area near Union's Darnaby Elementary School,7625 E. 87th Street, prompted the evacuation of some of the homes. Fire Department officials on the scene have told us the neighborhood leak has been stopped and families have now been allowed back in their homes. Please inform anyone who may inquire there has been NO disruption of school. There will be classes as usual at Union's Darnaby Elementary. ... more
