  • Great Start Friday reminder

    September 1, 2011
    Don't forget! Late Start Friday is tomorrow, Friday, September 2. All school times will begin 25 minutes later. Our Friday bus schedule starts tomorrow, as well with pick up 25 minutes later.

    Students at the Rosa Parks Early Childhood Center—our 3-year-olds—are not affected by Late Start Friday, so their school hours remain 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

    EDP hours will extend on Friday mornings to cover the late starting time.

    All schools and offices will be closed Monday, September for Labor Day.... more

  • Union launches Virtual Learning Academy

    Union Public Schools is hosting a parent orientation for its new Virtual Learning Academy at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 1, at the Performing Arts Center at Union High School. There are 430 students enrolled in the program.

    “Our program is unique in that we are utilizing our teachers. This is, and will continue to be, an issue that public schools will have to deal with as charters emerge and for-profit virtual schools decide to enter in this new digital learning age,” said Associate Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartzler.... more

  • Football tickets - Union vs. Evangel

    Pre-Sales for Union vs. Evangel Varsity Football on September 2

    Tuesday, August 30 - 4 – 7 p.m.
    Wednesday, August 31 - 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

    Tickets will be sold from the UMAC ticket booth. Reserved seat tickets are $10, general admission tickets are $7 for adults, and $4 for students & senior citizens. Union employees plus one guest are admitted with their Union ID badge for general admission seats at the game.  All-Sports Passes are accepted as well as Gold Key Passes.

  • Martial arts? Dancing? Computers?

    Union Public Schools welcomes students, parents, and patrons to become involved in the district's Community Education program. This is an opportunity for students as well as parents to participate in a variety of after school or evening enrichment classes. Computer skills, arts and crafts, martial arts, fitness, dancing, photography and much, much more!
