  • EXCELerate gives students head start on college

    A pilot program at Union and Tulsa schools has given high school students a jump-start to college. In its second year, the EXCELerate program allows high school juniors and seniors in the two districts to get college credits while earning their high school diploma.

    The Union Alternative School will be conduct a forum for students in grades 9-12 who have applied to the Alternative School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17 in Alt Ed Building B at 5656 S. 129th E. Ave.

    Applications are available online on the Union Alternative School web page at or through the counselors’ offices at all secondary (grades 6-12) school sites.

    Hello, this is John Chargois, 10th Grade Class Principal of the Intermediate High School, with an invitation to attend our Fall UCCAP Parent-Teacher conferences on Thursday, October 13, and Tuesday, October 18, from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. By using the faculty web pages on our website,, you may schedule appointments with teachers by calling and leaving a message on the teacher's voice mail or by e-mailing the teacher.

    New this year to our conferences will be presentations covering Oklahoma's Promise, concurrent enrollment, UCA, scholarships, Financial Literacy, NSU-BA college visitations, and Tulsa Achieves. College and university representatives, including TTC, will be on campus. Parents will have an opportunity to sign up for Parent Online and to join our PTSA.
