Sophomore scores perfect 36 on her ACT

Casey Cai, daughter of John Cai and Huifen Zhou of Broken Arrow, and a sophomore at Union Intermediate High School, earned a top composite score of 36 on a recent ACT test. Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, roughly one-tenth of one percent receive a top score. Among test takers in the high school graduating class of 2010, only 588 of nearly 1.6 million students earned a composite score of 36. ... more

Test taking workshop set Nov. 14

Chad Cargill ACT Test Taking Strategy Workshop November 14, at UNION HIGH SCHOOL This -three-hour workshop was developed by Chad Cargill. It is designed for students who need a few extra points on their ACT to win certain scholarships or who are a few points away from qualifying to get into college. This workshop is packed full of relevant, practical information on what will be on the test and how to master the techniques to how to increase your ACT score. Congratulations to support employees Andria Keller, Vicki Stewart, Matthew Weyna, and Kathy Ziegler who were named Support Employees of the Month for the months of September and October.
