Union to provide FREE summer meals
Once again, Union Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. .... Summer reading challenge under way
Meet the Teacher Thursday, August 17
The annual Meet the Teacher conferences for elementary students and parents will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017. During this time, parents have the opportunity to visit their children's elementary school and meet their teachers, sign up for PTA, buy a school shirt and learn about what is in store for the coming year. continue reading

OKC Thunder rewards Cedar Ridge third grader for reading
OKC Thunder offered a reading challenge to all Oklahoma students in kindergarten-third grade. Jaxson Boyd in Miss Beth Turner’s 3rd grade class at Cedar Ridge read the most minutes out of all 3rd graders in Oklahoma. He read 22,921 minutes this school year. Jaxson received a signed OKC Thunder basketball, trophy, and Thunder bag full of swag. Way to go Jaxson! Keep reading! continue reading
Cedar Ridge students learn about robotics
Cedar Ridge fifth graders are finishing up their Robotics and Automation module. These kids have done a FANTASTIC job working as a team learning all about the history of robotics and also how robots can be used to protect the Earth’s resources and environment. continue reading

5th Grade Science Invasion under way at High School
The annual 5th Grade Science Invasion of the High School began Monday as students from Cedar Ridge, Darnaby and Moore visited classrooms to participate in lessons led by High School students in a number of activities from learning about strawberry DNA to static electricity.
